Meet the Cat Mom
Hi, I am Borbala, the person behind Cat Mom.
I genuinely can't imagine life without cats.
To me, cats are incredibly special creatures, each with their own personality, little quirks, routines and unique way of communicating.
Some love cuddles, attention and playtime, while others prefer to observe from a distance and take their time getting to know you. And that is perfectly fine by me!
I have always believed that a cat's trust is something very special. It cannot be forced or rushed - it has to be earned through patience, kindness and respect.
How I became a cat sitter
A little story about how it all started...
Becoming a cat sitter was never really part of my plan- it just seemed to happen naturally.
Over the years, my own cat sitter and I became friends, partly because we shared the same views about cats and how should be cared for - with patience, kindness and respect.
As his business became busier, he occasionally asked me to help care for some of his cats, and I also looked after them when he went on holiday. What started as simply helping a friend soon became something I absolutely loved doing.
Eventually, when he moved away, many of the cats and their owners I had already come to know and care for stayed with me. In a way, I inherited his little cat-sitting business, and that's how Cat Mom was born.
What began as a simple favour turned into something very close to my heart, and I couldn't be happier that it did.
